Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore's Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Health & Safety (H&S)

  2. Ensure regulatory compliance for Mandai Wildlife Reserve, including review of

  3. plans, implementation of control measures and routine inspections.

  4. Conduct internal audits, gap analysis, root cause identification and

  5. recommend corrective actions for H&S Management System and incidents.

  6. Prepare, update and liaise on plans/reports as required by local statutory

  7. bodies.

  8. Respond to emergencies, investigate incidents and propose corrective actions.

  9. Coordinate external audits and maintain documents for ISO45001/bizSAFE

  10. certification.

  11. Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance to requirements.

  12. Conduct training and awareness programmes to improve stakeholders'

  13. competencies and awareness, including on change procedures.

  14. Implement processes, including contractor management, for works leading to

  15. operation of new parks/facilities.

  16. Perform compliance audits and inspections to ensure new parks/facilities

  17. comply with occupier and statutory requirements.

  18. Conduct management reporting and keep abreast with local legislations.

  19. Fire Safety

  20. Appointed as Fire Safety Manager (FSM) and perform FSM duties for new

  21. parks/facilities.

  22. Develop and maintain Emergency Response Plan (ERP) for new parks/facilities.

  23. Prepare and submit annual fire safety report.

  24. Review and provide guidance to stakeholders on adequacy of emergency

  25. preparedness and response.

  26. Facilitate the planning, design, conduct and evaluation of emergency drills and

  27. exercises.

  28. Be a key secretariat team member for crisis management.

  29. Other relevant duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or relevant degree or WSQ Specialist Diploma in Safety & Health
  • Ministry of Manpower (MOM) registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
  • Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM)
  • At least 3 years of experience in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and Fire Safety management
  • Experience in regulatory compliance with local health, safety, and fire safety regulations, including audits and certifications
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise effectively with different departments, external auditors, and statutory bodies
