INFO : Japanese MNC in chemical engineering in plastics polymer manufacturing, required 12 hours rotating shift Technician X 2

Location & Transport/ Remunerations : Jurong Island (Transport pickup to and fro at Jurong East, Outram Park Mrt)

/ Basic $2,000 - $3,000 + $370 mthly allowance + 13 mths Aws + 2 times Bonus payout + $600 monthly fixed allowance + day and night shift allowance + OT claim + permanent staff benefit

12 HOURS ROTATING SHIFT (MORNING & NIGHT) / CHEMICAL PROCESS TECHNICIAN X 2

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the process to meet the conditions specified in manuals/ instructions
  • Operate the process equipments at site in accordance with operation plan.
  • Take measures to improve production status and equipment performance on productivity and quality after approval of senior
  • Patrol plant process, confirm the condition of process and equipments and report disordered matter to senior shift technicians.
  • Prepare and organised patrol records
  • Take a sampling for analysis of products and process evaluation.
  • Report all incidents, near misses, deviation from plan and take part in further investigation when required.
  • Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning, and participate in maintenance activities and shutdown/start-up of sections.
  • Provide support for maintenance group /quality control group, if any problem arises.

Requirements:

  • GCE 'N' , 'O' Level, Nitec or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or any equivalent discipline
  • No experience are welcome to apply
  • GCE 'N' or 'O' level must possess a pass in Mathematics and Science
  • Minimum 1 year experience in chemical plant, experience in polymerization unit and extrusion unit or a minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing plant such compounding or extrusion is advantageous.
  • Possess basic knowledge of maintenance, chemical engineering and analytical procedures.
  • Experience in operation via DCS systems is advantageous
  • An effective team player with good communication
  • Able to work shift in a fast paced environment.
  • Possess the following certifications Plus Point :
  • ASSESS CONFINED SPACE FOR SAFE ENTRY AND WORK
  • ADVANCED CERTIFICATE IN WORKPLACE SAFETY AND HEALTH
  • SUPERVISE WORKPLACE SAFETY AND HEALTH IN PROCESS PLANT

Able to perform 12 hours rotating shift ( 8.00am to 8.00pm , morning shift / 8.00pm to 8.00am , night shift)
