Freelance Phonics Teacher for Special Needs Children

Agape Education & Training Group is seeking dedicated and passionate Freelance Phonics Teachers to join our team in 2026. We are looking for teachers who are able to travel to different teaching locations, including Aljunied and other areas in Singapore.

Job Description

  • Conduct engaging phonics lessons for children with special needs.
  • Teaching hours: Saturday mornings or weekday afternoons (3:00–6:00 p.m.).
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
  • Arrive at teaching locations 10–15 minutes before class starts.
  • Collect monthly teaching materials from our Tampines office.
  • Travel to different locations for teaching assignments.

Requirements / Criteria

  • Experience teaching phonics to children with special needs.
  • Preferably holds a special needs education qualification.
  • Familiar with storytelling, role play, drama, music & movement, and art & craft as teaching methods.
  • Able to commit until end of 2026.
  • Speaks good English with clear communication skills.
  • Strong classroom management abilities.
  • Responsible, committed, and able to work independently.
  • Possess a laptop, mini speaker, and PowerPoint skills.
  • A loving disposition and a genuine passion for moulding the next generation.
