Job Description

  • Working Location: Tuas
  • Working Hours: 5.5 days (Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:30PM; Saturday, 8:00AM - 12:00PM)

  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects. Liaise with customer representatives to review specifications and answer questions pertaining to installation of systems.
  • Manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components for manufacturing processes.
  • Determine manufacturing methods, techniques, and procedures to ensure designs perform as required.
  • Ensure all drawings, bills of materials, purchase requisitions, and quality checks are completed as per project schedule and ISO 9001 & 14001 processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, procurement, de-bugging, and customer buy-off to optimize the whole processes.
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering and material handling systems. Proficiency in CAD software and solid works.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to design and production.
  • Knowledge of design principles, steel and aluminium part creation, sub assembly and pneumatics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
