Key Responsibilities

  1. Vehicle Maintenance & Servicing

  2. Perform routine maintenance such as engine oil change, filter replacement, tyre rotation, battery checks, and brake servicing.

  3. Conduct multi-point inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and meet safety standards.

  4. Diagnostics & Repair

  5. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge.

  6. Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, braking, and air-conditioning systems.
  7. Replace or repair defective parts and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and company standards.

  8. Workshop Operations

  9. Follow job orders and service checklists to ensure accurate and timely completion of work.

  10. Maintain proper records of work performed and parts used.
  11. Ensure workshop tools and equipment are used correctly and kept in good condition.

  12. Customer Service & Quality Assurance

  13. Support service advisors in explaining vehicle conditions and repairs to customers when required.

  14. Test vehicles after repair to ensure issues are resolved before delivery.
  15. Uphold a high standard of workmanship and maintain cleanliness in work areas.

  16. Compliance & Safety

  17. Comply with workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations and company policies.

  18. Wear protective gear and adhere to proper safety procedures at all times.
  19. Report any hazards, incidents, or faulty equipment to management immediately.

Requirements
  • NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Automotive Technology or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience as a car mechanic, automotive technician, or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and follow technical manuals.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Possess a valid Singapore Class 3/3A driving licence (preferred).
