Job Summary

The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all BIM-related activities across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) disciplines. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in BIM and M&E systems, with excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure model integrity, accuracy, and compliance throughout all project stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate BIM workflows for M&E projects from design to construction.
  • Develop, maintain, and update BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD in accordance with project and client standards.
  • Coordinate and integrate architectural, structural, and M&E models to ensure design accuracy and clash-free models.
  • Conduct clash detection , prepare coordination reports, and resolve conflicts through collaboration with project teams.
  • Set up and manage BIM execution plans (BEP) , model standards , and naming conventions .
  • Create and manage Revit worksets , work-sharing processes, and model linking for multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Liaise with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless BIM coordination and data exchange.
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and supporting BIM modellers or draftsmen to ensure consistent modeling quality.
  • Manage drawings and models on platforms such as SharePoint , FTP , or other project collaboration systems.
  • Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and company policies at all times.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Building Services , Mechanical/Electrical Engineering , Architecture , or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM coordination within the construction or M&E industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit , Navisworks , and AutoCAD .
  • Familiarity with Singapore BIM standards and HDB project requirements will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple project deadlines.
