Job Role
1. Assist the project lead in overseeing a team of architectural personnel and technical personnel.
2. Prepare schedules and monitor project milestones.
3. Prepare documentation drawings required from design development to construction stage.
4. Review project specifications, prepare tender clarifications and working drawings.
5. Maintain overall records of drawing registers based on ISO standard compliance and maintain PQP.
6. Attend project meetings, recording minutes and disseminate information to project team.
7. Attend technical meetings to resolve work site issues.
8. Liaise and coordinate with consultants on all specific design and building requirements; conduct routine inspection of installed works.
9. Review of material submission against specification, mock-ups and control samples.
10. Resolve all site architectural issues (e.g. RFI and shop drawings, drawings discrepancies, method statements or correspondences) and implement the right methods to ensure quality and productivity, using BIM software.
11. Ensure timely and smooth progress of work and maintain proper documentation of site activity and client instruction.
Critical Work Functions & Key Tasks
1. Feasibility and Design Support
- Coordinate and conduct project meetings with consultants, contractors, clients, project teams
- Review data obtained from site analysis
- Provide input and alternatives on construction and build materials based on material analyses
- Analyse design database and documentation
- Review design to the client's brief, budget, timeline and in compliance with the authorities' requirements
2. Documentation and Tendering
- Prepare schedule and monitor project milestone
- Evaluate tender proposal, prepare technical clarifications with input and attend tender interviews. Administer any building contract
- Obtain necessary work and statutory approvals based on regulatory and legislative prerequisites
- Advise on appropriate procurement methods and selection of type of building contract to meet project objectives
- Validate performance of building against parametric design
- Review contract documentation
- Review procurement methods and selected building contracts in alignment with project objectives
- Evaluate performance of building against parametric design
3. Construction and Completion
- Review contractors' and subcontractors' work against project requirements for compliance with regulatory and legislative prerequisites
- Monitoring of Architectural Project Team's work progress
- Record of Site Minutes
- Review of Programme
- Review contractor's variation request to the Consultants
- Coordinate TOP requirement for site inspections
- Mange defects rectification during Maintenance Period/DLP
- Assist Project Lead with contract administration
4. People and Organisational Functions
- Lead a team by planning work activities and manpower allocation for project delivery
- Manage communication among the project team and other relevant parties
- Perform on-the-job coaching
- Track team members' productivity

- Graduated with a Degree or Masters in Architecture
- Possess 4 to 8 years of working experience
