Your primary focus will be on delivering and operating top-tier database services to support critical business applications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance within our organization.

  • Deliver and operate database services to support critical business applications
  • Oversee the delivery of enterprise-class database administration, including installation, upgrades, and maintenance activities for Oracle databases
  • Develop and implement database policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data security, availability, and performance
  • Monitor and tune database performance using various tools and techniques to optimize SQL queries and ensure efficient use of system resources
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions for complex business requirements
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience managing large-scale Oracle databases in a mission-critical environment. You will bring a deep technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in managing large-scale Oracle databases in a mission-critical environment
  • Strong understanding of Oracle database concepts, including versioning, replication, and high availability features
  • Deep knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
