Position Overview

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations, with the key objective of maintaining a safe work environment and preventing workplace accidents or injuries.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to OSH standards and company safety guidelines at all times.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Strictly comply with all safety rules and regulations within the worksite.
  • Develop, plan, and implement Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and initiatives.
  • Enforce preventive safety measures and monitor site activities to ensure compliance.
  • Investigate, prepare, and present reports on workplace accidents, incidents, or safety violations, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Supervise repair works, installations, and any activities that could pose safety risks to employees.
  • Maintain all safety-related documentation in accordance with ISO 45001 standards.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required by site operations.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Safety Coordinator within the Semiconductor industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of relevant safety legislation, regulations, and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of hazardous materials and workplace safety practices.
  • Experience in drafting and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Possession of the following certifications is required:
  • Manage Work at Height
  • Occupational First Aid
  • WSH Coordinator Training
  • Proficiency in reading and writing Chinese is required to communicate with the main HQ at Taiwan.
  • Able to commence work immediately or within short notice.
  • Minimum qualification: Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH).

Additional Information


• Salary: S$2,500 – S$4,500 (inclusive of meal and transport allowances; allowances are variable).


• Work Location: Tampines Industrial


• Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
