We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Software Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java EE application development, software enhancement, and cloud integration. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable Java-based applications, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, and supporting production systems.

Software Development

  • Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications.
  • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Write testable, scalable, and efficient code.
  • Test and debug new applications and updates.
  • Maintain up-to-date code documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Software Enhancement & Support

  • Provide Level 3 (L3) support for software development and maintenance.
  • Implement enhancements and defect fixes.
  • Maintain and improve performance of existing software in production environments.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Communicate clearly and regularly with management and technical support teams.
  • Demonstrate ownership of tasks and critical thinking during crisis situations.
  • Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3 - 6 years of experience as a Java Software Engineer or Java Developer.
  • Proficient in Java EE and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
  • Strong knowledge of Java frameworks such as JSF and Spring MVC.
  • Experience with:
  • Enterprise Java Bean (EJB)
  • J2EE framework
  • XML, XQuery, XSL
  • Linux/Unix, Windows, Solaris
  • Oracle SQL and JDBC
  • Java XML Parsing and Coding
  • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Perl and Python
  • Java-based Web Services and Servlet Technology
  • Familiarity with Java, JSP/Servlet, Java Bean, JDBC, SQL, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with test-driven development and reporting systems.

Cloud & DevOps

  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with
    AWS services, especially EC2.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native pipelines.
  • Understanding of cloud governance, cost management, and usage monitoring.
