Responsibilities:

• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical, financial, schedule-related, and reputational project risks.
• Leading and coordinating the activities of the Owner's project management team.
• Ensuring full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Providing leadership, mentorship, and professional development to team members.
• Approving, monitoring, and overseeing contractor execution of quality assurance and control procedures.
• Developing resourcing strategies for Owner's project management needs, ensuring appropriate recruitment, acquisition, or demobilization of personnel as required.
• Manage all interactions between the EPC contractor and key stakeholders, including Operations, third-party contractors, utility providers, government agencies, consultants, and neighboring entities.
• Upholding the highest safety and environmental standards throughout the design and construction phases.
• Acting as the Owner's representative, overseeing contractors to ensure projects align contractual requirements for HSSE, quality, technical integrity, operability, cost, and schedule, while implementing corrective measures when necessary.
• Fostering a positive, collaborative, and transparent work environment that promotes teamwork, integrity, and accountability.
• Providing detailed and accurate project progress reports to management and deliver updates to senior leadership and board members.
• Establish, implement, and enforce effective project controls and performance metrics to track progress and cost efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline
• Ideally with 8 years' experience in mechanical and maintenance function, preferably in oil / petrochemical / power generation industries, with 3 years' supervisory experience.
• Conversant with local codes, regulations and standards, equipment inspection and schedule requirements.
• Certified in API, vibration and other analysis standards will be a bonus.
• Practical experience in repair and maintenance of sophisticated static and rotating equipment, reciprocating compressors and engines, piping and valves is essential.
• A team player who can work well in a team and willing to collaborate with other business groups to achieve results.
• Diplomatic, pro-active and have excellent organizational and motivational skills to deliver world class maintenance performance.
