At Penn Color International (Asia Pacific) Pte. Ltd., we are looking for a Plastics Chemist to join our growing R&D team based in Singapore.

What you'll be doing
- Formulae colors for different plastics application.
- Operate on processing machines, such as 2 rolls mills, extrusion machine, injection Moulding machines and blow Moulding machines.
- Perform routine maintenance on processing machine and lab equipment.
- Perform internal lab testing for plastics applications and new raw material qualification.
- Upkeep development and internal lab testing area.
- Maintain good documentations and material inventory records.
- Maintain good laboratory practices and safety.
- Ensure all development and internal laboratory testing data have good documentation.
- Coordinate on the material inventory and raise purchase requisite at relevant time.
- Ensure the team perform good laboratory practices and safety.
What we're looking for
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in plastics or materials science research and development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualify
- Higher Diploma/Diploma in Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer or Material Science or related discipline.
- 2 years experiences or more, in polymer coloration.
Skill&Competency
- Knowledge on polymeric material and processes.
- No color blindness and good color discrimination.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft work and excel.
- Fluent in English.
