Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and follow up on daily maintenance activities with contractors and internal teams, ensuring timely execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults, supporting both corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with contractors for routine services and major shutdown maintenance, including planning and site supervision.
  • Assist in developing long-term maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and minimize recurring issues.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory, support purchase requests for tools, parts, and services.
  • Ensure proper documentation of calibration records, maintenance files, work orders, and compliance with SOPs and standards.
  • Promote workplace safety, support EHS policies, and contribute to continuous improvement in safety and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' supervisory/engineering experience in a chemical plant environment.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with plant mechanical equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance technologies, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a proactive attitude.

Details:

  • Salary: $3,500 – $5,350 (basic)
  • Allowances: $360 fixed
  • Location: Jurong Island (company transport provided at Jurong East)
  • Working Hours: 8.30am – 5.15pm, Monday to Friday
