SCEM Facilities Manager

Islandwide |  Full-Time |  Manager Level |  5 Years' Experience

Industry: Engineering, Real Estate / Property Management, Repair & Maintenance

Salary Range: $4,000 – $5,000/month


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and preventive maintenance of ACMV, Chiller, HVAC, and M&E systems to ensure optimal performance and system uptime.
  • Perform routine facility inspections and identify maintenance issues; coordinate timely rectification.
  • Lead fault diagnosis and resolution of equipment breakdowns in collaboration with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Review and analyse data from Building Management Systems (BMS) to identify energy-saving opportunities and improve system efficiency.
  • Work closely with stakeholders on facility upgrade projects, renovations, and infrastructure planning.
  • Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, energy, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide training, guidance, and technical support to facilities staff to strengthen operational capabilities.
  • Handle SCEM-related matters and liaise with relevant regulatory authorities.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, M&E Engineering, or Facilities Management (or related discipline).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities engineering or management, preferably in the built environment or M&E sector.
  • At least 2 years' hands-on experience in managing air-conditioning systems and HVAC infrastructure.
  • Proficient in operating and interpreting BMS systems.

  • Possess one or more of the following certifications:

  • Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM)

  • Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP)
  • Green Mark Accredited Professional – Facilities Management [GMAP(FM)]
  • Strong understanding of energy management, system optimisation, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, independent, and adaptable to team environments.
