Senior Piping Inspector

As a Senior Inspector – Piping, you will ensure that all piping-related activities during the modules completion and integration phase are executed in accordance with project specifications, codes, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

· Perform inspection and quality assurance of piping activities during modules completion and integration phase of the FPSO project.

· Carry out receiving inspections of piping materials and components to ensure compliance with specifications.

· Oversee and inspect piping fabrication, assembly, installation, and pressure testing.

· Ensure compliance with project standards, international codes, and class rules relevant to FPSO piping construction.

· Provide technical expertise and guidance in resolving piping inspection issues.

· Prepare inspection reports, maintain accurate records, and support project quality documentation.

· Coordinate with contractors, engineering, and quality teams to ensure proper execution of piping scope.

· Support audits, quality reviews, and performance monitoring of contractors.

Requirements

· Minimum 8–10 years of experience in piping inspection within the oil & gas or marine/offshore industry.

· Proven track record in FPSO construction projects, particularly during modules completion and integration.

· Strong knowledge of piping materials, fabrication, testing, and inspection methods.

· Familiarity with applicable piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, class society rules).

· Ability to interpret piping isometrics, P&IDs, and technical specifications.

· Good communication and reporting skills.

· Certification in CSWIP, API 570, or equivalent is highly desirable.

· Open to working at Tuas Boulevard Yard

· 5 days with a total of 44 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 730am-530pm and Friday 730am-430pm with one hour lunch break

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $5, $9,000.00 per month
