Role Overview
We're looking for a Temporary Accountant to provide hands-on support to our Finance and Tax teams during ongoing business transformations. This role involves managing financial and tax data, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting audits, tax filings, and related projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, organise, and maintain financial and tax documents in SharePoint, ensuring completeness and accessibility.
- Tax Support: Assist with tax reconciliations, compliance checks, audits, and projects such as entity liquidation. Coordinate with external tax advisors and maintain accurate records of filings and correspondences.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with internal teams (Tax, Finance, Legal, Operations) to gather and verify information. Provide updates and ensure deadlines are met with external advisors.
- Ad Hoc Support: Assist with finance and tax initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, or audit.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting and tax principles.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and data management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint; familiarity with Globe3 is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
