Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join the AUPE General Services Co-Operative (GSC) team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of accountability, aptitude, and initiative in supporting the daily operations of GSC, prepared to contribute to ongoing projects, and providing HR shared services for internal stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Actively support and execute the daily operations of the General Services Co-Operative.
- Perform credit evaluation of unsecured loan applications and hospitalisation benefit claims.
- Conduct credit underwriting by analysing supporting documents, credit reports, and relevant data to assess applicants' creditworthiness.
- Ensure all credit decisions and processes comply with internal GSC policies, SOPs and external regulatory requirements.
- Manage and resolve customer enquiries and appeals in a timely and professional manner.
- Collate and analyse monthly statistics and data on loan performance and defaults.
- Review and enhance existing GSC workflows and policies that includes identifying process gaps and recommend improvements efficiency aligned with current business direction, and regulatory practices;
- Follow up on loan defaults and manage recovery actions in timely liaison with relevant stakeholders;
- Support the GSC Manager in providing timely HR service delivery and responding to staff enquiries on AUPE HR matters;
- Assist in organising staff-related events, townhall sessions, and coordination of logistical arrangements;
- Support in the assigned project and submission and follow-ups of respective government fundings;
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager, GSC and/or the Management of AUPE.
Requirements:
· Minimum Diploma with at least 5-8 years of relevant experience in credit or loans administration.
· Prior HR experience and working knowledge of the Employment Act.
· Good analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
· Strong team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
· Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite especially excel.
