Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong understanding of the payments industry, global trends, regulatory and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead engagements independently, covering both internal aspects and client requirements, and operate effectively in a constantly changing landscape with strict timelines and outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities :-


• Lead conversations with payments business and operations teams to capture requirements and objectives.


• Serve as the client's trusted referent for payments domain knowledge and analysis.


• Work with client team members and executives to identify business requirements and subsequently lead others in initiating, planning, controlling, executing, and closing the client's solution.


• Translate the client's complex business requirements into formal agreements.


• Manage the BA team, consultants, and delivery.

Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements and Skills :-


• Strong understanding of the payments industry, global trends, regulatory and compliance initiatives.


• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in a constantly changing landscape with strict timelines and outcomes.


• Lead engagements independently, covering internal aspects as well as client requirements.


• Strong exposure to Payments & Cash Management technology and end-to-end lifecycle across ACH, RTGS, Real-Time Payments, and Open Banking.


• Exposure to SWIFT & ISO 20022 Message Processing Clearing & Settlement Systems (e.g., RTGS, ACH, RTP, Singapore MEPS /FAST, Hong Kong CHATS/FPS, Malaysia Rentas/HOUSe/Giro payments, etc.), Payments schemes rulebooks, and requirements understanding.


• Exposure to Corporate Internet Banking & Direct Channels (Host2Host file transfers), Mobile banking PSD2, Open Banking Payments Service Provider (PSP), Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), etc.


• Exposure to one or more products like Finastra-GPP, FIS Clear2Pay-OPF, Dovetail, ACI-MTS, TCS Bancs Payments, Finacle Payments Solution, etc.


• Proven track record and experience in managing complex projects in the financial services market.


• Ability to understand business objectives and transform them into solution requirements.


• High impact presentation skills to present highly visible solutions and services to the client.


• Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills; creative, innovative team player able to convince all stakeholders and bridge differences.

Experience :-


• 10-15 years of experience.

Prior Background :-


• Minimum 10 years of experience working in a Banking IT organization as part of a Payments & Cash Management group in the role of Lead SME / Senior BA.


• Experience in driving complex engagements covering requirements definition and gathering, transformation roadmap, business case, TOM Solution Design, and IT delivery.


• Multi-country implementation exposure of Payments solutions at regional and global banks.
