Location: Novena, Singapore

BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is home to 4,500 digital, cyber and intelligence experts. We work collaboratively across 10 countries to collect, connect and understand complex data, so that governments, nation states, armed forces and commercial businesses can unlock digital advantage in the most demanding environments.
 

The individual in this role will run a complex project/programme. 

There may be some sub-contracts involved and the programme may use new or emerging technology. This role may manage a number of projects/contracts or work packages.

No of Direct Reports: Potentially Up to 10 

Report to the Head of Delivery, based in Novena - Singapore.

Key responsibilities include:

• Mobilize resources on contract award and maintaining this throughout project execution, providing leadership to the project team, management of suppliers, subcontractors and associates where required.
• Pro-active management of project RAID, financials (including margin, forecast costs to complete, technical and management contingency, revenue and capital cost), quality, scope and schedule performance, ensuring delivery of the agreed scope against the agreed contract, acceptance criteria, SLAs and change requests.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (external and internal customers) and actively manages the customer's expectations through appropriate communications, reporting, assurance and governance.
• Advanced Problem solving, based on previous experience and knowledge
• Advanced Administration and general office skills including SAP, Microsoft Project/Visio and Excel

The role holder is accountable for: 

Leadership:

• Accountable as a member of the Project Management team for development and implementation of appropriately tailored practices.
• Accountable for ensuring several aspects of Project Management practices in Line of Business and meet the requirements of Operational Framework.
• Guides others in application of Project Management techniques.

Nature of Impact:

• Indirect impact on the performance of related Project Management teams, which will affect the overall performance of the function/business
• Potential indirect impact on reputation & growth of business, through the effectiveness of its Project Management practices.
• Direct impact on performance of team
• Supports implementation of strategy for Project Management development in Line of Business or project.
• Contributes to development of Project Management strategy for Business Unit or Line of Business.
• Controls budget and resources for the team.
• Impact on business by influencing decisions through advice and counsel

Area of Impact:

• Impacts indirectly on the IBP of the Line of Business or project, having responsibility for the effectiveness of some aspects of the Project Management processes.

Key skills & Experience:

Problem Solving:

• Applies problem solving techniques to situations of moderate complexity in the field of Project Management, taking requirements and data from internal (capability) sources and external (customer, competitor and academic) areas. Gathers and analyses information. Supports development of solutions. Devises implementation approaches.
• Problem solving may apply in an existing business environment and also in a new business environment e.g. how to develop new/different Project Management approaches new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• University level education or professional qualifications gained through industry.
• Professional PM Qualification or years of practical experience gained through application of Project Management.
• G50 Security Clearance will be required for this SG role.
