Tower Crane Operator

JOB SUMMARY

The Tower Crane Operator is responsible for safe and efficient lifting operations, including handling pre-cast products and materials on site. The role ensures compliance with all workplace safety, health, and operational requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operate the tower crane to lift, move, and position pre-cast products or materials on site.
• Monitor load weights and ensure crane stability during operations.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working condition.
• Perform basic housekeeping and routine maintenance of the tower crane to maintain operational readiness.
• Follow all workplace safety, health, environmental, and company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the site team to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Project Manager as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed secondary school education or equivalent.
• Holds a valid Class 5 driving licence (if required by project operations).
• Successfully completed a relevant and recognised crane operator course (e.g., Tower Crane Operator Course).
• Able to communicate effectively with team members to ensure safe coordination of lifting tasks.
• Physically fit to perform job duties, in accordance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Prior experience in crane operations will be an added advantage.
