About the Role

To provide evidence based clinical dietetic consultation and advice for all patients and/or caregivers.

Key accountabilities

  • Develop nutrition care plans for patients and monitor their progress
  • Provide dietary counselling to patient/caregiver to enhance patient's dietary compliance and/or nutritional status
  • Work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary care team in communicating care plan, providing holistic care and/or supporting continuity of care
  • Review and develop dietary education materials for patients
  • Advocate to promote nutrition and wellness programs / services that improve outcome and patient experience of care
  • Participate in doctor's and allied health professionals engagement activities to help promote outpatient Dietetics services
  • Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) projects and other relevant quality improvement initiatives
  • Other assignments as and when required

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or other relevant area of study
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in clinical dietetics
  • Up-to-date evidence-based knowledge of clinical dietetics and nutrition
  • Full membership with a recognized professional body (e.g., Association of Dietitians)
