Position Overview

We are a vibrant, community-driven gym committed to helping members achieve their fitness goals through personalized training, group classes, and top-notch facilities. We are looking for a creative and results-oriented Marketing Specialist on a part-time or freelance basis to enhance our brand presence, attract new members, and engage our current community. This role is flexible, requiring approximately 5-10 hours per week, and can be primarily remote with occasional on-site visits for content creation or events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote gym memberships, classes, events, and special promotions across digital and traditional channels.
  • Manage social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), including content creation, scheduling posts, and engaging with audiences to increase followers and drive traffic.
  • Create engaging visual and written content, such as graphics, videos, blog posts, and email newsletters, tailored to fitness enthusiasts.
  • Analyze marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics or social media insights and provide recommendations to optimize campaigns.
  • Collaborate with gym staff to organize promotional events, local business partnerships, or influencer collaborations.
  • Handle basic SEO for the gym's website and online listings to improve local search visibility.
  • Track and report on key metrics, including lead generation, membership sign-ups, and ROI from marketing efforts.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in marketing, ideally in the fitness, wellness, or consumer services industry (1-3 years preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in social media management, content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair for storytelling.
  • Basic knowledge of digital advertising (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads) and analytics.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for fitness and health is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Compensation

Competitive hourly rate or project-based pay, depending on experience and scope. Open to negotiation based on part-time or freelance arrangement.
