Associate Director, CyberSG TIG Centre

The Ecosystem Building team operates one of the most extensive startup ecosystems in the world, leveraging on world-class research and innovation capabilities twinned with market connectivity through our regional and global nodes.

You will be part of the pioneering team for our national CyberSG Talent, Innovation and Growth Collaboration Centre (TIG Centre), established in collaboration with the Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore (CSA), to shape and develop a vibrant and growing cybersecurity ecosystem in Singapore. Your mission will be to strengthen Singapore's cybersecurity capabilities through formulating strategies and implementing programmes at the TIG Centre and leveraging network effects through a centre by integrating industry and talent development initiatives

Overall Programme Office

• Oversight of programmes across TIG centre in terms of budgeting, resourcing, and synergies.

• Oversight of Centre governance and managing Council related matters (advisory panel, resource panel, mid-term review expert panel, TOR etc).

• Track and review Centre's performance and impact.

• Champion TIG Centre's success stories to enhance status a national hub.

• Guide/coach TIG Centre staffs for alignment of Centre/programmes objectives.

• Facilitate continual new programme development for the TIG Centre.

Industry Programmes Oversight and Support

• Oversight of Support of CyberCall, CyberBoost and CyberGrowth programmes delivery, timeline and achievements.

• Support and coordinate engagement with potential demand drivers/end users for CyberCall to drive successful onboarding and novel challenge statement.

• Foster collaboration with local and international stakeholders and drive discussions for a cybersecurity focused fund in Singapore (Eg. SGI, EDBi, ISTARI) to support fund raising efforts for startups/companies.

• Help to engage broader ecosystem to curate pathways for cybersecurity startups/companies and to attract startups to Singapore.

• Explore partnership with renowned international cybersecurity hubs for soft-landing zones and collaboration in industry programmes. Engage partners and complete partnership agreement.

• Drive thematic approach and deeper GTM engagement for cybersecurity export leveraging on CSA cyber pilot experience.

• Work with CSA to tap on connections / resources / experts to add values to industry programmes. Eg. CSA engineering team's review of promising startups/companies' solution, expert network for emerging technology think piece, mentors for investment or internationalisation efforts.

• Bachelor's degree or higher, with minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
• Good project management skills and readily embrace a data driven approach in providing operations and reporting
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex cybersecurity concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term visions for the TIG Centre, aligning with organizational objectives.
• Demonstrated understanding of innovative cybersecurity technologies and their practical applications.
• Proven ability in collaborating with and managing complex internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of cooperation and partnership in cybersecurity initiatives.
• Experience in the Cybersecurity/ related-industry would be advantageous
