Support the Director of Clinical & Health Informatics Office (CHIO) in the implementation of the hospital informatics strategic roadmap through the intelligent use of health informatics to facilitate the optimal delivery of patient care.
**Challenges**
- Your key responsibilities include the following: Support Chairman, Medical Board (CMB), Assistant CMBs, Chief Clinical Informatics Officer (CCIO), Assistant CCIOs (ACCIOs) and Director of CHIO to activities which include but not limited to:
- Development of health informatics strategy roadmap and supporting health informatics projects and committees.
- Develop policies, guidelines and frameworks which governs the development and implementation of clinical and health IT systems supporting patient care like Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to support the health informatics strategy roadmap.
- Operationalizing of policies and the tactical implementation of strategic initiatives by way of work plans to ensure that CHIO meets its strategic goals and objectives.
- Knowledge and content management of project files and documentation, meeting minutes, discussions, and key decisions in support of clinical and health informatics, and to ensure ease of future reference.
- Develop and implement the hospital health informatics training and development plans and steering academics and research for health informatics, to support both clinical and non-clinical staff who wish to pursue a career in informatics and to support the hospital's health informatics strategy roadmap.
- Support CHIO to work with TTSH IT Office (ITO) which provides IT support services for the Hospital and develops key IT strategies to support better patient care
**Requirements**:
- At least a tertiary degree from a recognized university. Preferably 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office like Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint a must.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and people management.
- Strong analytical skills to manage complex issues and with the ability to collect, organize, analyse and process information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to initiate, deliver and drive projects with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a collaborative team.
- Health informatics certification, NGEMR certification, and project management certification (PMP) a plus.
