The role also includes following up on incoming materials, monitoring shipment status, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and generating weekly reports. Additionally, the intern will handle BOM issues, assist with vendor invoices, manage RFQs for new materials, and contribute to continuous improvement and cost control efforts in the purchasing process.
