Internship Overview 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Corporate Affairs Intern to join our Singapore-based Asia team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain industry experience at the intersection of strategic communications, investment insights, and philanthropic engagement in the life sciences and sustainability sectors.

You will support regional corporate affairs initiatives related to:

  • Communications strategy execution
  • Social and digital media content development
  • Stakeholder engagement and branding
  • Reputation and issues management
  • Geopolitical monitoring and analysis

You will work closely with the Asia Investments team and liaise with colleagues in Copenhagen and other global offices, including from the Novo Nordisk Foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing communication strategies for Asia-focused activities involving Novo Holdings and the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
  • Draft social media content, digital newsletters (e.g., via Microsoft Sway), and internal/external updates to showcase regional investments and Foundation initiatives.
  • Monitor regional media coverage and geopolitical developments impacting our sectors (health, sustainability, climate, food systems).
  • Create visual and multimedia assets using tools like Canva or equivalent.
  • Support preparation of briefing materials, talking points, or presentation decks for internal stakeholders and external engagements.
  • Assist in managing media lists, press materials, and media engagement records.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects, research, or event support related to branding, thought leadership, or public affairs.

Requirements

Professional & Personal Qualifications

We welcome applicants who demonstrate a strong interest in communications, branding, and current affairs, and who aspire to make an impact through thoughtful storytelling and stakeholder engagement.

Essential Qualifications & Traits:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Political Science, or related disciplines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Mandarin is an advantage).
  • Demonstrated interest in corporate branding, media, or stakeholder communications (through prior internships, campus projects, social media portfolios, etc.).
  • Curious about global affairs and their business implications, especially in Asia.
  • Positive, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), plus familiarity with Sway, Canva, or other visual content tools.
