  1. To assist the occupier of the workplace or other person in charge of the workplace to identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes therein;
  2. To recommend to the occupier of the workplace or other in charge of the workplace reasonably practicable measures and safe work procedures to contol & mitigate such risks to prevent incident occurrences;
  3. To assist in implementing & reviewing such measures or safe work procedures to prevent workplace accidents;
  4. To investigate any incidents/accidents and advise on the remedial measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence;
  5. To work closely with the relevant authorities on safety, health and environmental matters;
  6. To administer and implement an effective Environmental, Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS) in accordance with prevailing legislation and preparation for third-party external EHS audits;
  7. Conduct Environmental, Health and Safety Audits as per requirements;
  8. Making certain that all ordinances or orders bearing on occupational safety and health and environmental are complied with the governing laws;
  9. To prepare and conduct the EHS trainings for all employees which are identified in RA and SWP;
  10. Measure and monitor the WSH performance of the project and discuss WSH performance in the WSH committee meetings and recommend areas for improvement;
  11. Perform ECO and ECMO duties as assigned; and
  12. Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.
