Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Analysis & Product Design

  • Collaborate in evaluating the feasibility of customer requirements, assessing both technical viability and product profitability.
  • Convert customer expectations for functionality and reliability into measurable quality standards, including identification of Special Characteristics and control of critical dimensions.

2. Pilot Production & Testing Oversight

  • Plan and lead trial production runs, ensuring thorough testing of product appearance, dimensions, functionality, and reliability.
  • Coordinate customer sample validation and manage the preparation of the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation to secure customer approval and enable smooth transition to mass production.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Problem Solving

  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineers, mold development teams, and other departments to address and resolve quality issues during product development.
  • Investigate anomalies from trial runs, implement corrective actions, and verify the effectiveness of solutions to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related discipline).

2. Experience

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in product design, development, or quality engineering, ideally within a manufacturing or R&D setting.
  • Practical knowledge of quality planning tools such as PPAP, FMEA, and APQP.

3. Technical Expertise

  • Solid understanding of quality standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF
  • Proven experience in managing trial builds, sample testing, and validation processes.

4. Software Skills

  • Proficient in CAD tools and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with quality or project management systems (e.g., SAP, PLM, QMS)
