Offering advice on tile choices based on customer needs, including color, material, and durability.

  • Safety and Compliance :

Ensuring that all installations meet safety and building code requirements.

Using appropriate tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) to avoid injuries.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills : Proficient in using tile-cutting and laying tools.
  • Attention to Detail : Precision in measurements and tile placement is crucial.
  • Knowledge of Materials : Understanding of different tile types, adhesives, and grout.
  • Physical Stamina : Ability to work on your feet for long periods, often in physically demanding conditions.
  • Experience : While formal qualifications are not always required, previous experience or apprenticeships in the trade are highly valued.
Work Environment:
  • Residential : Tilers often work in private homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas.
  • Commercial : Tiling in office buildings, retail spaces, and other public places.
