We're seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Cook to join our culinary team. As a Kitchen Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and working collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
Prepare and cook menu items to exacting standards, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with kitchen standards.
Kitchen Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and workstations.
Teamwork:
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and minimize delays.
Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a positive team environment.
Quality Control:
Taste and inspect dishes to ensure quality and consistency.
Report any issues or concerns to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience as a kitchen cook or in a related role.
Skills:
Strong cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Qualifications:
No specific qualifications required, but a culinary degree or certification is an advantage.
