We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic consultant to join the medical oncology service in the National University Cancer Institute Singapore (NCIS). Medical Oncologists in NCIS are involved in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer using a wide range of treatment modalities, including novel therapies in clinical trials.
As a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will be required to carry out duties as directed by the Chairman, Medical Board, and Head of Department in accordance with policies and guidelines set by the National University Health System (NUHS) and the Ministry of Health (MOH), Singapore.
As part of an integrated healthcare system, our combined resources allow you to leverage clinical excellence, research, and education aspects of each institution in your pursuit of professional knowledge and expertise. You may from time to time be deployed to other institutions within NUHS.
Job Requirements
- Active in clinical practice;
- Possess basic medical and postgraduate qualifications from accredited medical universities or medical schools, which are registrable with the Singapore Medical Council;
- Completed Advanced Specialty Training or equivalent, with two years of experience at the consultant level;
- Must be successfully registered with the Singapore Medical Council and accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board, Ministry of Health;
- Able to work independently with demonstrated competence in managing patients in a multidisciplinary environment; and
- Confident, takes initiatives, and a good team player.
