Job Description


•To conduct regular visits to stores for audit purposes


•Prepare Halal / QA audit and investigation reports


•Assist in performing product or Food Quality check & adherence as expected and directed by the Company


•Ensure operational activities are according to established Standard Operating Procedure and work instructions


•Assist in documenting of inventory items in retail outlets


•Support & participate in outlet business operations, where assigned


•To ensure compliance on halal matters pertaining to the Halal Certified Premises


•Maintain all Halal Assurance Points according to stated Halal risk management


•To ensure Halal and QA documents are well-organised and in order

Halal Assurance:


•Ensure end-to-end Halal compliance across raw materials, suppliers, production, logistics, and retail operations.


•Maintain and update Halal-related documentation (e.g., HalMQ, Halal certificates, supplier declarations).


•Conduct regular internal Halal audits and mock audits to ensure alignment with MUIS' guidelines and the Singapore Muis Halal Quality Management System (HalMQ).


•Train internal staff on Halal knowledge, handling practices, and awareness.

Quality Assurance & Food Safety:


•Support implementation and maintenance of food safety management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC


•Conduct internal audits across outlets/production and prepare corrective/preventive action reports.


•Liaise with external auditors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities (e.g., SFA, NEA) during inspections or product recalls.


•Review and verify cleaning records, pest control reports, temperature logs, and hygiene inspections.


•Assist in investigation and closure of customer complaints and non-conformities.

•Good Communication & interpersonal skills


•Food Hygiene knowledge and certification is added advantage


•Able to travel to conduct internal inspection in chain outlets


•Able to work rotating shifts and weekends as required


•Able to work independently with minimal supervision


•Good in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Google Sheets


•Minimum Diploma Holder or recognized Islamic Institution and have attended Halal Foundation Training Courses/ Halal Competency Assessment
