Roles & Responsibilities

The Building & Facility Executive is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations to ensure safety, maintenance, and functionality of company buildings.

Key Duties:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee operations of assigned facility areas, covering maintenance, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and statutory obligations.
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to implement cost-effective and efficient facility upkeep and development.
  • Respond promptly to feedback and service requests.
  • Supervise technicians and manage vendor services to maintain professional standards in daily operations.
  • Raise purchase orders (POs) and verify job completion/delivery from contractors/vendors.
  • Manage and update online facility management systems.
  • Perform other facilities-related duties as assigned by management.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facilities management.
  • Hands-on experience with simple maintenance/repair tasks, from planning to execution.
  • Strong team player, self-motivated, results-oriented, and resourceful.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site at Tuas facility.
