Our client is seeking a Debug Engineer to join their team
What you'll be doing?
  • Lead debug activities: Guide a team of AE / Technicians in conducting debug-related tasks for server and rack products that fail during production.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot: Test, analyze, and perform in-depth troubleshooting on product failures, collaborating with customers and HQ/factory teams to implement improvements.
  • Root cause analysis: Diagnose the root causes of failures and isolate components or failure modes to enhance product reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Participate in Kaizen activities and work with relevant parties to implement enhancements.
  • Documentation and training: Prepare and update Working Instructions as needed, and provide comprehensive training to technicians.
  • Support production processes: Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and support mass production runs.
  • Quality assurance: Participate in ISO activities, contributing to implementation and maintenance of quality standards.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: Diploma in Engineering discipline or related field, with a strong foundation in technical concepts.
  • Relevant experience: At least 3 years of experience in server, rack, or manufacturing environments.
  • Customer-focused: Ability to work effectively with customers, test/R&D teams, and system teams, ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Technical skills: Good understanding of test and debug methods, with knowledge of programming and debugging skills.
  • Linux proficiency: Familiarity with Linux systems is preferred, enhancing your ability to work with various platforms.
