Lab Analyst

Responsibilities:

· Perform analytical and testing accurately and in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

· Ensure all the test results and calculations are in order before submission to Chemist/ Supervisor.

· Report all non-conformances and equipment failures to lab manager.

· Assist in investigating chemical analysis failure investigation.

· Document all results in accordance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) requirements.

· Write and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and On the Job Training (OJTs) for the laboratory.

· Perform equipment and product qualification and analytical method validation where required.

· Ensure all documentations and quality records are conducted in accordance ISO 9001:2015

· Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment e.g. analytical balance.

· Perform routine housekeeping and active participation in 3S & Risk Assessment Hazard Prevention and WHS.

· Troubleshooting when equipment breakdown or malfunction.

· Support Lab consumables purchase, inventory and control expenditure.

· Arrange and support external vendors with PM service & calibration.

· Support in audit preparation.

· Able to always comply with the company's safety policy.

· Any other tasks assigned by superior if required.

Requirement:

· Minimum Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or in a related discipline.

· Familiar with Chemistry lab

· Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.

· Good communication and writing skill.

· Strong problem-solving skills and strong attention to details.

· Ability to work independently and willing to perform overtime when required.
