About the Company:

My client is a global leader in automotive technology, the company develops advanced powertrain and drivetrain solutions that enhance vehicle efficiency, performance, and emissions. Their products support conventional, hybrid, and electric vehicles, helping automakers meet evolving environmental and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide industrial engineering support for manufacturing operations, including facility layout, work standard instructions (WSI), routing, and material/process flow.
  • Work closely with the team to focus on productivity enhancement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Conduct cost estimation studies for potential products.
  • Develop and maintain process, procedure, and standards documentation.
  • Collaborate with product teams to implement improvements and optimize resource utilization.
  • Establish and standardize work procedures, routing, and WSI.
  • Perform time and motion studies to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Plan and set up manufacturing lines, including new model startups and engineering change implementations (ECOs).
  • Support continuous cost and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise work groups to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage CAPEX for new manufacturing lines, ensuring adherence to budgets.
  • Drive LEAN practices during manufacturing line setups.
  • Conduct Value Stream Mapping to optimize processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial engineering experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
