Job Description & Requirements

  1. Design & Technical Engineering

  2. Prepare and review electrical designs, drawings, SLDs, and technical specifications.

  3. Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and engineering analysis.

  4. Ensure all designs comply with SS, SP/EMA, and project requirements.

  5. Project Execution & Supervision

  6. Oversee electrical installation works and ensure compliance with safety and approved drawings.

  7. Coordinate with clients, consultants, LEW, and subcontractors.

  8. Resolve technical issues and ensure timely project completion.

  9. Testing & Commissioning

  10. Lead testing and commissioning of electrical and telecom systems.

  11. Verify test reports and ensure systems meet design and regulatory standards.

  12. Documentation & Compliance

  13. Prepare method statements, risk assessments, reports, and as-built documents.

  14. Ensure compliance with WSH, EMA, SP Group, and building regulations.

  15. Support LEW submissions when required.

  16. Procurement & Material Review

  17. Evaluate vendor quotations, materials, and equipment.

  18. Recommend suitable materials and coordinate with procurement for timely delivery.

  19. Team Leadership

  20. Guide and supervise junior engineers, supervisors, and technicians.

  21. Provide technical support and assist in project planning and resource allocation.

  22. Troubleshooting & Support

  23. Investigate electrical faults and system issues.

  24. Provide solutions and conduct root-cause analysis.

  25. Professional Work Ethics

Telecom & ICT Responsibilities (If Applicable)

  1. Fiber Optic & Network Works

  2. Oversee fiber optic installation, splicing, termination, and testing.

  3. Conduct site surveys and verify DB loss, cabling, and containment works.

  4. RF, LTE, 5G, and DAS Works

  5. Support design and installation of DAS, antennas, RF cables, and related CME works.

  6. Conduct indoor walk tests and prepare ATP reports (e.g., using Nemo).

  7. Preferably with iBwave Level 1 and RF optimization experience.

  8. Telecom Equipment Integration

  9. Assist in commissioning and integration of routers, basebands, RBS, and multivendor systems.
