Job Purpose:

The Accounts Clerk is responsible for performing accounting and administrative works for the effective processing of accounts payable transactions. The role also works closely with the Accounts & Operations Manager to support other period closing accounting duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all receipts and transaction entries are accurately recorded
  • Assist in monthly closing
  • Perform accounts receivables duties
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing
  • Monitoring of outstanding debtors' accounts to recover overdue debts
  • Handling of inquiries of payment from creditors
  • Daily filing and maintenance of documents
  • Liaise with the operation team in obtaining complete supporting documents
  • Handling phone calls and email queries relating to accounts
  • Perform administrative works
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior and Management

Qualifications:

LCCI / Any Accountancy relevant certification

Experience/ Proficiency:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in accountancy
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Required to communicate Chinese speaking clients and vendors, mandarin speaking proficiency is required
