The Speech Therapist is responsible for assessing communication needs, developing therapy plans, and supporting clients in improving speech, language, and feeding abilities. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality intervention.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and feeding needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programmes for clients.
- Monitor progress and adjust intervention plans where necessary.
- Collaborate with other professionals in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Educate and train caregivers on home-based activities to reinforce therapy.
- Stay updated with current clinical practices, tools, and research trends.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Speech Therapy.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) as Full or Conditional Registrant.
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and caregiver-training skills.
- Working experience in early childhood industry.
