Responsibilities
  • Design and calculations for mechanical engineering projects, including preparing bills of materials and liaising with customers and suppliers for queries.
  • Preparation and submission of design and construction documents.
  • Conduct technical reviews and clarify specifications with customers and suppliers.
  • Coordinate design efforts with other engineering disciplines.
  • Participate in construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Identify the scope of work for projects.
  • Resolve technical issues that arise during projects.
  • Monitor the progress of document submissions.
  • Assist in drafting tasks and guide drafters as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn new activities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical design.
  • Ability to perform HVAC cooling capacity, pressure drop calculations, and duct sizing.
  • Experience with duct and HVAC installation.
  • Knowledge of piping and instrumentation diagrams (PID), airflow diagrams, and instrumentation diagrams (DID).
  • Understanding of basic pipe sizing, selection, and installation.
  • Basic fire suppression system knowledge.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field.
