About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team, specialising in residential and basic commercial maintenance services. The ideal candidate should be versatile, hands-on, and able to perform a wide range of repair and servicing tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general repair and maintenance works
• Drilling and installation of shelves, brackets, fixtures, and other fittings.
• Painting, patching, and minor wall repairs.
• Replacement or repair of electrical switches, sockets, and other basic fixtures.
• Clear minor chokes in toilet bowls, basins, and floor traps.
• Repair and replacement of sanitary fittings such as taps, hoses, and valves.
• Minor carpentry repairs and fabrication.
• Basic metal welding tasks when required.
• Attend to breakdowns, servicing, repairs, and emergency requests from various company outlets.
• Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and unusual occurrences promptly.
• Assist with relocation of furniture, equipment, and fittings.
• Perform general housekeeping and upkeep when required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in handyman, maintenance, or technical service roles.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and air-conditioning servicing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
• Positive working attitude, responsible, and dependable.
• Willing to respond to urgent or emergency service requests.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $1, $3,142.16 per month
