About the Role:
As the Nurse Manager/Clinician (Operating Theatre), you will be a key leader responsible for building and managing nursing services for our new hospital. This is your opportunity to combine clinical expertise, leadership, and project management skills to shape a high-performing nursing team and influence patient care excellence from day one.
What You'll Do:
Leadership & Management
- Inspire and lead nursing teams, cultivating a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop nursing personnel to achieve the highest clinical standards.
- Set clear goals and performance expectations, providing coaching and mentorship to drive team success.
Clinical Oversight
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based clinical protocols.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and patient safety requirements.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction, implementing targeted interventions for improvement.
Resource & Operations Management
- Develop staffing models, rosters, and workflow processes to optimize care delivery.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of medical supplies and equipment.
- Manage nursing budgets while identifying efficiency and resource optimization opportunities.
Quality Improvement & Training
- Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety, clinical outcomes, and overall care experience.
- Conduct audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Mentor staff and drive professional growth through comprehensive training programs.
Hospital Set-Up
- Play a pivotal role in establishing nursing services for the new hospital.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and planners to integrate best-practice clinical infrastructure.
- Set up systems for inventory, equipment procurement, and infection control from the ground up.
Who We're Looking For:
- Operating Theatre experience is a must
- Bachelor's in Nursing
- Singapore Registered Nurse with more than 10 years post-registration experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisorial role.
- Experience in nursing management, preferably in hospital start-ups or expansion projects.
