Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Carry out procurement functions including sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and vendor management.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, safety, and performance.
  • Create and process purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Contracts, Engineering, and Project teams) to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
  • Verify accuracy of supplier invoices, quantities, unit rates, and system data entries.
  • Address and resolve disputes or delivery issues.
  • Assist in verifying system data entries and maintaining the procurement database.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and contracts in an orderly manner.
  • Support day-to-day tasks and assist in ensuring smooth team operations.
  • Provide support to superiors to ensure procurement activities run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Report team feedback, concerns, and suggestions.
  • Ensure procurement processes are properly followed.
  • Share best practices and assist with on-the-job learning.
  • Generate monthly procurement reports.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement within the construction or infrastructure sector.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end procurement
  • Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
  • Well-versed in local procurement practices, contract terms, and statutory requirements.
  • Meticulous, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines
