The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee's buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
About the Team:
Shopee Brand Protection team's goal is to safeguard brand rights and customer trust on Shopee, by preventing counterfeiting, infringement or other unauthorised activities on its platform. To do so, the team is engaging daily with various external stakeholders globally to understand the situation they face and try to find solutions to it.
Job Description:
- Work closely with teams (e.g. Operations, Legal, Regulatory) to develop internal workflows and escalation protocols
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute meaningful initiatives to safeguard brand rights
- Build and drive brand protection for Southeast Asia and other emerging markets
- Engage with internal and external senior stakeholders to drive key agenda and initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field
- Understanding of IP law is a plus
- Internship experience in management consulting, or e-commerce industry or the risk management industry preferred
- Able to form actionable insights and recommendations using advanced analytic skills
- Able to organise large amounts of information and data to solve problems
- Able to work proactively and independently
- Able to manage multiple projects and negotiate with stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation, reporting, and consulting
- Able to thrive and lead in a dynamic and collaborative environment
- Keen interest in the e-commerce industry
