Commitment: 7 sessions × 3 hours per cohort (approx. 21 teaching hours)

About the Course

Vertical Institute's Blockchain Course offers learners a comprehensive introduction to blockchain technology and decentralized ecosystems, including cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, NFTs, DeFi, and more. The course equips learners with practical knowledge and skills to understand and navigate the blockchain space.

Classes run on weekday evenings or weekends and are delivered live via Zoom by an experienced instructor, supported by a teaching assistant.

Role Overview

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the instructor in delivering clear and engaging lessons. Your role includes helping learners with technical concepts, facilitating practical exercises, and providing ongoing support to maximize learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist during live Zoom sessions
  • Guide learners through key topics such as:
  • Blockchain fundamentals and cryptographic principles
  • Cryptocurrency transactions, wallets, and exchanges
  • Smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps)
  • NFTs, DeFi, and emerging blockchain trends
  • Provide support and troubleshooting via the Telegram community and e-learning platform
  • Track and mark attendance in compliance with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) requirements
  • Share learner feedback to help refine and update course materials

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, and DeFi
  • Ability to simplify complex blockchain concepts for beginner learners
  • Proficient with Zoom and equipped with a reliable home setup (camera, mic, stable internet)
  • Prior teaching or mentoring experience is a plus
