Staff Nurse/ Senior Staff Nurse

Responsibilities:
- Prefer with knowledge of clinic setting and OT and ward recovery setting
- Ensure that patients' case-notes and investigations reports are ready before the start of clinic sessions
- Assist the doctors to perform minor clinical procedures and provide nursing care to patients during physical examination
- Provide nursing care and screening program for women, including patient counselling
- Provide financial counselling and education on operation / treatment procedures
- Assist in observing and reporting patients' condition and progress during their recovery from the minor procedures
- Order medicine and other supplies and dispense medication
- Monitor, maintain and replace clinic equipment, instruments, inventories and supplies
- Prepare and pack surgical items / instruments for autoclaving
- Assist in billing and registration, Medisave submission and embryo storage renewals
- Proper records keeping
Requirements
- Singaporean or Singapore permanent resident preferred
- Minimum Diploma holder
- Fully registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
- Experience in O&G nursing and Operating Theatre will be an added advantage
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good working attitude, motivated and has good initiative
- Able to multi-task and work work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to deal tactfully and with sensitivity to the needs of customers rom different cultural and social backgrounds
- Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage as the job requires communication with Mandarin speaking patients
