Role: Product Controller – BP APACMain responsibilities:Trade supportEnsure positions and trade details recorded in internal systems match external parties (clearers, custodians, prime brokers, counterparties)Facilitate the timely resolution of position and trade breaksFacilitation of option expiry processes and other contractual obligationsCompression and novation processingSend the Trade Confirmation to counterpartiesReconcile brokerage feesCompliance with regulations and internal policies with respect to trade execution and captureRegulatory reporting to the authorityAssist and maintain SOP documentationPnl ReportingDaily P&L production, reconciliation, reporting and analysisReconcile and resolve P&L variances with front office trading desksReconcile P&L reported to general ledger and investigate any variancesConduct periodic independent price verification and valuationParticipate in new business/product approval processWork closely with Financial Control on ledger booking, accounting fair value adjustment, and financial statements disclosureProcess Improvement and ProjectsNew business initiatives: Including set up of new traders and productsProcess Improvements including technology enhancementsEnhancing knowledge through training and maintenance of team procedures and policiesCompleting event reviews and implementation of risk mitigation improvementsKnowledge & Experience:Minimum 3-5 years experience in trading industrySolid Understanding of Finance/derivatives fundamental (Valuation, relational database, business intelligenceSolid knowledge of Risk Management system (Orchestrade) and reporting systemAbility to manipulate high volume of data / data scienceKnowledge of Commodities Markets dynamicsExperience in PowerBI/ Python Have knowledge about commodity trading (especially oil and gas)Attributes:Accustomed to a fast-paced, dynamic trading floor environmentInteractive behavior : Active Listening and communication skillsProblem solving : Issues perception, analyzing, practical thinking, creativity, innovationEducation:Minimum Degree in Business related disciplineLanguages:Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and writtenProficiency in additional languages such as French, Japanese or Chinese is not mandatory but would be advantageous, as the role involves handling documents and communication with counterparties/stakeholders in other countriesLocation:Singapore – Asia Square Tower 1Business Unit: Supply & Energy ManagementDivision: BP APACLegal Entity: ENGIE ENERGY MARKETING SINGAPORE PTE LTDProfessional Experience: Skilled ( >3 experience
