Job Summary

The Curtain Wall QA Supervisor will oversee and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities for curtain wall and façade works on-site. This role ensures that all installations meet project specifications, client expectations, and regulatory standards. The incumbent will lead a team of QA/QC Inspectors, conduct regular audits and inspections, resolve quality issues, and promote a strong culture of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor QA/QC Inspectors to ensure consistent and effective quality practices on-site.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to inspectors and project team members.
• Resolve site quality issues promptly while maintaining full compliance with project standards and client requirements.
• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.
• Create and maintain inspection checklists to standardize quality inspection processes.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and relevant codes to ensure construction compliance.
• Conduct regular quality audits to assess workmanship and identify potential non-conformities.
• Perform detailed inspections of curtain wall components and installation to ensure adherence to technical standards.
• Document and follow up on non-conformances and corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Participate in weekly project and coordination meetings, providing updates on quality performance and site issues.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on quality and inspection-related matters.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, audit findings, and rectification records.
• Verify compliance with safety and regulatory standards during curtain wall installation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness among all on-site personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC supervision experience in construction, preferably in curtain wall or façade projects.
• Strong understanding of quality standards, inspection techniques, and construction codes.
• Proficient in reading and reviewing technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with MOM regulations, workplace safety, and local construction requirements is preferred.
