The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on creating and training general-purpose log sequence LLMs. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by the PI and co-PIs of the project from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University.

  • To process and handle publicly available log datasets.
  • To develop and design approaches for training general-purpose LLMs for log sequence analysis.
  • To perform large-scale empirical evaluation on the designed approaches.
  • To write research reports and papers on the obtained models and results.
  • To work with other team members hired for the same project.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in computer science, information technology, or closely related disciplines from an institution of higher learning, with a focus on machine learning or data science
  • Past research experience on adaptation or training of foundation models preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and know-how on machine learning and large language models
  • Excellent publication track records at top-tier AI/ML/cybersecurity venues
  • Good analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
