Accountant (Maternity Cover), 10 Months Contract Up $4.1K

Working Hours: 9AM – 6.00PM (Monday to Thursday)

Working Location: International Business Park

Job Description:

Statutory Audit & Tax

  • Prepare supporting audit fieldwork, external and internal audits
  • Prepare draft financial statements, notes to accounts, impairment assessment.

  • GAAP reconciliation, statutory forms

  • Finalize corporate tax computation

  • Prepare Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI)
  • Prepare quarterly withholding tax filing with IRAS
  • Prepare super distributor segmentation for Transfer Pricing Adjustment (TPA)
  • Update Onesource Tax reporting quarterly

Planning

  • Prepare projection for specific items in above & below OIBT P/L, balance sheet, TPA etc.

    Analyze and comment on major flux with prior projection

  • Analyze and prepare month end closing P&L Variance commentary (DHQ OCOS) 

    Provide assistance to other areas within Finance as needed

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years proven experience on a similar position/role, working in commercial business or similar environment.
  • Deep knowledge of local statutory accounts and tax legislation
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential requirement
  • A degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Business or Finance

    Knowledge of SAP and MS Office applications particularly Excel is necessary
  • Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities at once while meeting deadlines
